Beginning with the dramatic sequence of John baptizing Jesus, One Voice traces the engrossing paths that led Pharisees Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea from a Jerusalem temple to the foot of Calvary’s cross. There they jointly take Jesus’ body to Joseph’s tomb and bury Him. Both “secret believers” until they discover each other’s beliefs on Golgatha, Nicodemus and Joseph have spent years struggling with the painful sacrifices and choices they will have to make if they reveal their convictions. But through the power of the Resurrection, they find their voice. In publically declaring their faith, they issue a clear challenge to belivers today to boldy be a voice “crying in the wilderness” of the world.
